Since 1998, our investment strategy has always been a focus on being a disciplined investor and leveraging the GEMS network.

We target sectors where we have industry knowledge, enabling us to generate investment insights from our "first hand" operational experience. Over time, our understanding of businesses in these industries and their respective competitiveness has continued to grow as we participate in additional investments in these sectors. Concurrently, we are able to draw on the wealth of expertise and intelligence from the GEMS Funds Board, Advisory Council and our Management Team. At present, we actively seek expansion-stage opportunities in telecom, natural resources, consumer and financial services.

We believe our investment discipline gives us the strength and ability to deploy capital in different phases of the market cycle, to well-positioned companies that have strong growth potential, clear business focus and above all oversight of high quality management in order to progress through our rigorous evaluation process.
